2025 TRAVEL DETAILS: Your Borneo adventure will begin with a night stay at Shangri La Resort and Spa. When planning your trip, you should allow two days at the beginning, and one day at the end, for travel.

We will be staying in amazing accommodations and visiting multiple local conservation organizations.

Itinerary:

• Day 2-3 –  Travel to Sepilok Rainforest Lodge.
  Special tours at both the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Center and the Orangutan
  Orphanage. Spend the afternoon at the Proboscis Monkey Sanctuary. Enjoy two nights at Sepilok, including a night trek.

• Day 4-5 – Early morning flight to Sandakan or a 2.5-hour boat cruise on the Kinabatangan River. Spot pygmy elephants, proboscis monkeys, and orangutans. Stay at the world-famous Sukau Rainforest Lodge, one of Nat Geo’s most unique lodges of the world. Evening boat safari and night trek to see diurnal and nocturnal species.

• Day 6-8  –  Travel to the Danum Valley, one of the most biodiverse hotspots in the world. Stay at the stunning Borneo Rainforest Lodge. Wake up to the songs of gibbons and see diverse species such as tarsiers, colugos, and possibly even a marbled cat or clouded leopard.

• Post-Extension Philippine Options: 
• Option 1: Bio-diverse hot spot of Danum Valley Reserve and Borneo Rainforest Lodge for jungle treks and nocturnal walk
• Option 2: Visit the Philippines to enjoy diving and marine life exploration.

Price starting at $5,500*/person, double occupancy

PAYMENT POLICY FOR ALL SAFARIS:

• As mentioned above, there is a 3% Credit Card Transactions fee. To avoid these fees, you can pay with Cash or Check.
• A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the cost of the trip is required when booking.
• Final payment is due 120 days before the beginning of the trip. 

CANCELLATION POLICY:

• If you cancel your trip 120 days or less before your departure, your payment is NOT refundable.  This is why we recommend travel insurance.
• If you cancel your trip before the 120 day mark, you can either receive a full refund of monies paid (minus the non-refundable deposit) or we can apply your payment to another Wild Ecotours trip within 12 months of the trip’s departure date.
